Two guys who wanted to make games that flip everything on it's head, that's the misssion Hans Dunnik and Sven boers started Sneaky Mammoth with. During their college days they constantly argued on mechanics vs narrative. That hasn't changed, only they started making games as well, with focus on combining game mechanics with narrative, and make small, intense and entertaining games. 'Small company, Small games, think Big!'
The spark for Sneaky Mammoth started back in 2012 when we had access to 4 PC's for our research project, and thought we should actually make something fun. So we made a prototype for what later would be the basis for Axethrower. The response was overwhelming. With both the Dutch Game Garden and press interested in us, we made a deal that we were going make more games by putting designs on their head.The official startup
When we were close to graduation we decided test our friendship once again by rebuilding axethrower into a playable, only in 21 days. Afterwards when we didn't kill each other we started up our company with the goal of giving players these types of games. Speed, Competition and Risk, we build our games around this concept.
