Axethrower first started out as a gag project, when we were in the middle of an extensive design research project for our finals. When the time came that we had to show our product on an exposition. We looked at our work and decided we had a day, so we started building on an idea of being trapped together in a singular place with just a single weapon. Axethrower was born.
When we showed Axethrower as a side project on the exposition we got an overwhelming response on it, so we decided to just go with it. And so Axethrower became our first game.
Axethrower will be an online PC game with the option of online play and local multiplayer. The game is filled with wackiness, and getting wackier with every day we work on it. But we cannot share more on this just jet.
